Course Overview

The BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care Management at LSME is designed to prepare students for leadership and management roles within the health and social care sectors. The course covers key areas including healthcare policy, legal frameworks, project management, and inter-professional working, as well as providing the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage healthcare services in both public and private settings.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A Level 3 qualification such as BTEC National Diploma in Health & Social Care, or an equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care, or A-levels with strong performance in relevant subjects.
  • An enhanced DBS certificate.
  • Pass an initial assessment test (CEFR Level B2) in literacy and numeracy with proficiency in academic writing at LSME.

For top-up qualifications, students must have:

  • An HND with a Merit Profile or equivalent, or a strong personal statement demonstrating critical thinking and understanding of the program.

Students can apply for financial support through gov.uk/student-finance for tuition fee loans and maintenance support. International students will need to provide evidence of sufficient funds to cover the tuition and living expenses.
