Course Overview

The BSc (Hons) Computing with Foundation Year programme is designed to give students a comprehensive understanding of computing, programming, systems analysis, and design, while preparing them to solve real-world problems. This course includes a foundation year to equip students with the necessary academic and technical skills before they move into more specialized modules at degree level.

Entry Requirements

The standard entry requirements for this course are:

  • 48 UCAS points (or equivalent)
  • GCSE Maths grade C/4 and English grade C/4
  • IELTS score of 5.0 (no grade below 4.5)

Non-standard applicants may be considered with relevant work experience or through an academic interview. Access qualifications are accepted with a minimum of 45 credits on your Access Course and IELTS score of 5.0 (no grade below 4.5).
