Course Overview

The LLB (Hons) Law with Foundation Year degree is designed to give students the academic foundation to pursue a legal career. The foundation year equips students with the necessary academic and professional skills to succeed in higher-level legal studies, before progressing to the full LLB (Hons). This programme provides a robust legal education, covering essential areas such as contract law, criminal law, public law, tort law, and EU law, with an emphasis on practical application and employability.

Entry Requirements

The standard entry requirements for this course are:

  • Minimum of two GCE A2-level passes (or equivalent), including any subject, and five GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent), including English.
  • If English is not your first language, an IELTS score of 6.0 (minimum 5.5 in each band) or equivalent is required.

Non-traditional entry qualifications and relevant work experience will also be considered.
