Course Overview

The BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance (with Integrated Foundation Year) is a comprehensive course designed to prepare students for the challenges of the accounting and finance industry. With input from qualified accountants and the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA), this degree offers students the knowledge and practical skills required for a successful career in finance. The integrated foundation year ensures all students are well-prepared academically, with personalised learning modules designed to address individual needs before progressing to the full degree.

Entry Requirements

To apply for the BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance course, you must have:

  • A recognised level 3 qualification from the UK, or
  • Any level 3 international qualification (compared through Ecctis).

Mature students (over 21 years of age) without level 3 qualifications must demonstrate an interest in accounting and finance and complete the following:

  • An interview
  • An assessment test
  • An admission assessment form (RPEL)

All non-UK qualifications will be compared through Ecctis, and translation may be required if the qualification is not in English and not comparable through Ecctis.
